As per Indian preaching, innocence is darkness and enlightenment is the light. The prime objective of a student is to travel from darkness to light. In that journey, the teacher helps the student in knowing the unknown and leads the student to the light from darkness. As such the teacher is also treated as a channel through which the student acquires the real knowledge. As the nature is only the real source of knowledge, the student was sent to the Ashrams, where the teacher takes the responsibility to mould them to know their goals. In the Ashrams the teacher inspires the student to learn the mystic ways of knowing the unknown and enjoying the bliss.
The life, with a clear comprehension of its purpose was taught to the student. With a comprehension of life, a student learned to live in an organised manner. The teacher used to practice the wholesome life philosophy and the student was trained in. The complete human personality, explaining “this is the way of life should be and this is the way of man should be” was unveiled in such educational system. The wholesome life philosophy when practiced used and to present with courage and act as a catalyst in digging out the infinite mental energies hidden with in the student. It may not be far away from truth to note that the modern educational system under the disguise of modernity became a despicable causing anxiety, fear and weariness to the student, instead of giving pleasure and happiness.
The learning process is a continuous one, in which the relation between the student and the teacher is tied up. In such learning process, the student is supposed to do service, to sacrifice his ego and to preparedness his mental status so as to bare all the sufferings. This requires observation of the nature, logical thinking, and alternative towards the things and withstanding all kinds of pressures on continuous practice. This system is referred as learning process, where the teacher is playing a vital role.
It is said that a teacher who teaches is a poor teacher, a teacher who explains is an fair teacher, a teacher who demonstrates is a good teacher but a teacher who inspires is an excellent teacher.
In olden days the education was perused by deserves only. Before taking the student to education the student was put to several tests and only after being qualified in all the tests, he was admitted as a student. The student was trained to learn the society, nature with out any pressures. The prime objective of a student in learning was to enjoy the Service, Sacrifice and Sufferings. All the days they use to enjoy the process of learning. The keys of wholesome life like the time, the love, the truth and the responsibility were the subjects to learn and practice. Students were trained to be in time, extend their love, practice truth and accept responsibility.
Efficiency, alertness, improving skills on day to day basis and helping the needy was some of the important areas where the student has to master. In such process the role of a teacher is highly sensitive. No body, unless he got interest in it learns any subject, no matter how important it is. And it is also important to make the student to learn all the subjects. This needs a little patience to the teacher to make the student learn. In those days there was a good rapport between a teacher and student. The rapport has presented a constructive and progressive prosperity to the nation. A proven methodology was existing there, by which the teachers were trained to impart their knowledge to their disciples.
Now, the scenario has been changed. The students are subjected to teach those subjects in which they do not have any interest. Neither the teacher nor the student has the patience to master in the subject. In most of the cases every body is looking forward to find a good career through their degrees. It is not far away from the truth to comment that some of the institutions have become rehabilitation centers. In some cases, the teachers with low esteem or poor communication skills are entering in to the field. As the wavelength of most of the students is not on line with teachers, there is an understanding gap. And now a day, the education is measured in the jar of degrees instead of application of knowledge. The Government is encouraging unwanted systems in digging out the latent energies of young students. The real talent is ignored in some instances. This is resulting in displaying poor efficiency, and defeating the prime objective of education.
The vision to make India an emerging super power by all ways i.e. economically, educationally, technologically, needs a systematic exhibition of Indian traditional educational values among the youth. The Excellency lies in adopting the best educational values in day to day activities. It is only possible when and only when there is a cordial and equal wavelength between teacher and student. Unfortunately, now the time is warranting us to inject such relationship among them.
Today, the global scenario is changing its shape. The whole world is becoming as a small village. The traditional visionary leadership doesn’t serve the needs of the day. Extraordinary efficiency and quick and right actions are required to display our visionary ambitions. This requires a little high education. And here the role of a teacher is more important. As it is said, the learning is unlimited, the teacher’s responsibility increases in many folds to inspire the student to learn. As the teaching is limited, and the need of the world is high, a teacher has no option, except to give inspiration to the student to learn more and more, in an easy way.
Here appears the importance of communication skills of a teacher. The teacher, now a day has many responsibilities. Yes, the intelligence and emotions of the student are to be considered. The ill effects of the developed media are to be taken care off. He has to develop his communication skills and update information. The teacher has to anticipate the learning capacity of the learner and accordingly inspire him to accomplish better results.
As we know that the anticipation is only the hallmark, an excellent teacher displays his best talents in judging the capacity of his student. The modern student doesn’t find much time in knowing things, which are no way concerned to their career. An active, thoughtful and creative teacher communicates his productive ideas to the students in a better way.
The market and economy of present day is more dynamic in nature. Every body has to design their progressive skills as per the day’s needs. The traditional teacher who used to stick up to the class rooms and explains the syllabus prescribed in the text books will yield for acquiring academically degrees. Neither working smart nor working hard for day and night will present us required results. A teacher should inspire his disciples to learn “to work hard and to work smart”. It is not so easy to translate the preposition in to reality. Teacher should first learn to practice himself the principle and then preach the same to the student. The aspirant teacher needs to develop his teaching acumen and requires being more savvy in overall contribution of his student’s development.
The communication skills of the teacher should reflect a role model of life to all the students to emulate. Dedication, accuracy, completeness, economy of movements, effectiveness, concentration and awareness are the signs of a world-class teacher. Dedication, discipline, determination, concentration and drive of learning are the signs of a learner. As there are no boundaries for learning, no body is complete in learning and no one can stop a learner. Teacher offers his knowledge and feels joyful and the student receives the knowledge and always he will be thankful to the teacher. Love and faith exists and flows between them.
As we know, the faith power works wonders, the student having faith in his teacher will receive knowledge at sprit level. It is said that instinct occurs at body level by perfect actions through practice. The intuition occurs at mind level by perfect feelings through love. The intellect occurs at thought level by perfect thoughts through faith. And the inspiration occurs at sprit level by perfect consciousness through responsibility. When oneness is attained at all the levels i.e. instinct, intuition, intellect and inspiration levels of the student and teacher then the transformation takes place. Once the student transcended to consciousness his consciousness envelops instinct, intuition, intelligence and he develops insight and inspiration.
In such transformation, the consciousness of the student is raised to the level of alertness. The alertness is said to be the sensitivity for any changes. Then the alertness is transformed to awareness. In the state of awareness, one is able to know to the lines, behind the lines, ahead of the lines, under the lines and above the lines. That is nothing but he will be aware of every thing i.e. what is happening, what has happened and what is about to happen.
In present circumstances, the traditional educational methods and values took many changes. The technology is developed in many folds. Now we are able to know total worldwide changes. The challenges are warranting a change in our attitude. There should be a change in our thinking. Our thinking is the basis for our behavior. And our behavior decides our attitude. But to day the relation between a teacher and student became commercial relation. The human values based on love, affection and faith have become artificial. In most of the cases the values are limited to books and the students could not get value-based education.
In light of Globalisation, today, it is essential to a teacher, to transform the student so as to meet the Global challenges. The present educational system may not serve the needs of the day. There should exist a better communication system. The communication skills are to be imparted to modern teacher through training programs in domestic & international institutions. Every educational institution should appoint teachers, who are well trained in such skills.
The learning capacity of a student is directly proportional to the potentiality of the student. Potentiality is awakened by the action i.e. the method of reading. The result depends upon actions, and as per result the student conceives his believes. The strong belief in turn presents him an unbendable potentiality. A teacher who is aware of the above mechanism directs his disciples in a positive direction.
Normally, learners are of three types. They are Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic. In a closed classroom having many students, the teacher cannot concentrate on each and every student. As the teacher is also falls in one of the above types, the students on par with the teacher can only learn effectively. Therefore, every teacher should be trained in such a way that he could identify the capacity and taste of students and inspire them accordingly. A teacher should necessarily possess the ability of updating his knowledge to the needs of the student. When the situation warrants, the teacher should invariably accept the changes. The teacher should always inspire the student to search for hidden opportunities. New practices, new methods, new products and new approaches are essential for a teacher to transform the student. Always the teacher has to improve, alter and change the past practices for a sustainable progress in their endeavor.
As the dreams are the power, the teacher should inspire the student to have a positive vision for what they want to accomplish. As it is evident that “no objective leads to no end”, the teacher should motivate the student to strive hard and turn all the possibilities into reality, to fulfill their objectives. The teacher should realise that no person is worthless and encourage accordingly. Living like frog in a well has no reason in any body’s life. The laziness, satisfaction for what have achieved, timidity and rigidity to stick to birthplace are treated to be the damaging factors to anybody’s progress. The teacher should ensure that he himself is away from those barricades and motivate his disciples to have a global outlook.
Surprisingly, today’s Global needs were anticipated in our ancient times and the student was trained in. The importance of communication skills was well noticed and the teacher was given enough training. Several instances from puranas reveal the fact that the teachers trained their students so as to meet the global challenges.
To day, cost control exercises at all the spheres, are very much appreciated for any company’s survival. Every organisation is looking forward for global market. Opportunities are knocking the doors of efficiency and Excellency. Outsourcing has become an important factor to sustain in the market. Every individual has to strive to be marketable. That requires constant updating of information and increasing stress bearable capacity. Both require training. It is opined by some IT companies that even 5% of the emerging professionals do not comprise the need of the day. The competition sprit is to be developed among the competitors.
Hitherto, as there is a competition among the companies of our own country, the competition played a nominal role. As global market opened doors, it is necessary for a teacher to improve his communication skills to train his students so as to meet the global requirements. The scientific, economical, social, political, spiritual development is taking place in a rapid way. To understand all the information in traditional methodology, time has become a barricade. In a limited time unlimited information is to be utilised.
A teacher is supposed to inculcate the spirit of competition among the students. The competition should not be subjected with others. The competition should lead in improving our capabilities. Constant improvement presents us with betterment. There is no best in the world. Every best can be bettered. Improving and proving ourselves will give us the required results. As every record is waiting for its breakage, competition within us yields good results. This kind of preaching from the teacher improves the thought pattern of the student.
Imitation, in general, is the natural characteristic of human beings. So, it is evident that a student learns through environmental observation. If a teacher is bad with his deeds and character, the student learns to be bad and characterless. Therefore, it is essential for a teacher to purify himself. Purity, completeness, perfection, creativity, fearlessness, accountability, acceptability, reliability are some of the qualities required for a teacher to train students. No body can hide his personality for a longer time. Unless, one builds up his own character and is good by his nature, he can not act for a longer time as good. Therefore, it is an essential pre qualification for a teacher, to improve and prove his character and communicate the same to the student through his behavior. The teacher should develop certain workable strategies in this aspect, and should have patience in implementing them.
As the electronic era is dominating the world, every body should try to adopt the same to update their working skills. A teacher is also not an exemption in this aspect. The traditional teaching methodology also needs a change. The revolution in usage of computer technology and in adopting the information technology is also taken care off. As, a worldwide net work is accessible today one should make use of such technology in importing knowledge to their disciple. Unless, we accept the change and adopt it, no progress can be expected. One should think and plan as per today’s requirements. As, the past is always an invalid instrument, future is uncertain only the present is the reliable factor. Therefore, everybody should think and plan for present. One should be in tune with latest developments and trends in improving different communication skills and strategies. It is essential for a teacher, for attending net working and seminars, which allows them to be ahead with their peers in exhibiting their best ability in importing knowledge.
As today’s student is more dynamic, a teacher is supposed to be more competent. Unless, a teacher has a credible record in fulfilling of commitments, a sustainable progress cannot be expected. One, being proactive, will not only be elevated in his respective field but also guide his disciple in realising the merits of being proactive. A modern teacher has to invariably enhance his soft skills like interpersonal relations, people management skills and communication skills and present them at a right way. A teacher should have enthusiasm in training his students, then only his innovative ideas accomplish.
It is essential for a teacher to share his knowledge. It is also advisable to encourage debates and seminars among students. As about 60% of what we talk will be registered in our mind, we should encourage students to express their feeling from their childhood. Free and fair expression leads to open-mindedness. Slow and steady wins the race is the phrase used in olden days. But today it has changed its shape. Fast, steady and innovativeness wins the race, is the new phrase. Helping others will give us success. The younger generation should experience the pleasure in offering help to others. Self-confidence and self-respect, both are to be treated as wealth. A teacher should act as a catalyst in the process of acquiring such wealth by their students. Several students may fail in their endeavor. A teacher should try to translate the failures of his students in to success. It is to note that there is no failure. A failure denotes that time being we have not succeeded. Or to succeed in our attempt we have to work more. All the time we may not be blessed with success. One should be prepared to face even negative results. We should learn to enjoy the failures also. It is also essential to note that failures bring us opportunities. We should trust that failures are high road to success.
Every body wants to be in a good position. It is correct and essential for an aspirant to move forward. When we don’t find a work which we want, we should learn to love the work we had. This will present us with peace.
One should learn how to present him self in the society. One should be alert with his body language. Our mind, our intellect, our consciousness should lineup with our body language. Our communication skills will decide our ability. How best one is qualified academically is not important but how best he is presenting him self is more important. The attitude, the desire and the skill will decide the fate of the aspirant.
In light of the above, the student may be in the state of more Confusion. It is the responsibility of a teacher to guide his disciple and make him a good learner.
While concluding,
I appeal that the role of the teacher is very important in light of Globalisation. As the student has to surpass several pitfalls, the honorable teacher has to guide him from time to time. The tension is pervading in every walk of life. As every street is not paved with gold one has to strive hard and pick up their opportunities. Teacher has to fill confidence in the hearts of kids. This may require extraordinary performance. As we know that nothing is impossible in the universe, a teacher has to acquire such performance by practice. Day by day in every way the world is moving to high roads. Young generation has to attain those goals. It is possible only when the teacher drives the student in a right direction. The teacher- student binding is more precious. In our literature the teacher is treated as God. The teacher can generate a good future and can organise it or distract the same. If a doctor fails in his operation one patient may die, if an engineer makes a mistake one project may fail but if a teacher fails to perform his duty generations will get damaged. The intention of the teacher may be good, but if it is not communicated in a proper way that may send wrong signals. This all depends upon the communication skills of a teacher. In a right sprit if a teacher enjoys molding his disciples, India can reap the fruits of Globalisation.
The responsibility of a teacher in molding raw students into finished quality products of tomorrow’s world needs, is highly appreciated. Any nation is buildup not by stones and cement but by its good citizens. Good citizens are not born but molded. As the sculptor designs his sculptures to the needs of the day, the teacher has to mold his disciples.
It is note worthy here to note that the map is not the territory and every body should feel the importance of communication skills in a teacher in light of Globalisation. Adding any thing further may reflect repetition. Therefore I take part here.
I sincerely, thank you for going through the text.
Any suggestions for the betterment are highly appreciated and thankfully acknowledged.

Environment Protection
On every 5th of June, we celebrate International Environment day. The first International Environmental meet was held on June 5th, at Sack Home in America. The representatives of all the Nations have participated in the summit. They have discussed regarding the steps to be taken to protect the environment in depth and passed on one resolution to protect the environment. The then prime Minister late smt. Indira Gandhi has participated in the summit, as our representative.
While we talk of protecting environment, it is required to know what is environment. The earth, air, water pervading in and around the universe, irrespective of surface or underground, or living or nonliving elements, is called the environment. These are all balanced in the Nature. When these all are in uniform balancing state, the Natural balance is arrived at.
One should not forget that man is a derivative of Nature. He has to live with Nature. But, his selfishness did not permit him to live with nature. He is damaging the ecological balances, thus causing disturbances in the nature.
Nature is blessed with a good quality, which is balancing all the natural resources. Sun gives us heat. Sunrays swallow the seawater and give us rains. Rains support crops. Crops are needed for our living. Trees in nature inhale the hydrogen, which we exhale and give us oxygen. Trees give us rains, food etc. Every creature in the creation of God has its own way of living. It has also had its own contribution in the direction of ecological balancing in the Nature. The hydrogen generated by the vehicles and the Industrial machines, we use is destructing the purity of the Nature.
The ultra violet rays delivered from the Sun are very injurious to us. To protect the universe from such ultra violet rays, there is one layer between the Sun and the Earth, called as OZONE LAYER. There is a danger of getting a whole to the OZONE LAYER due to environmental pollution. The environmental scientists recognized the hazard and warned the entire world.
It is a fact that the environmental pollution is a universal problem. It is now a high time for every Nation to pay high attention and all possible steps are to be taken to minimize the environmental pollution if not totally eradicated. It should be under taken on top priority and combined efforts are to be initiated. Every individual has to think of it, and should do whatever he could sincerely, on war foot basis. We should not forget that our prosperity and well being is based on environmental purity.
The environmental pollution is mainly due to
1) Air pollution
2) Water pollution
3) Sound pollution
4) Pollution due to Geological disturbances
In addition to the above, usage of our resources unlimitedly and ignoring of socio-economic balances are also causing for ecological imbalances.
Now it is our turn to think whether controlling of pollution is in our hands? And is it possible with us? Then the answer should be yes.
1) If we think of it in a right direction if not totally, we can minimize such pollution.
2) Better fight and loose. Trail may give us result, but inertness will present defeat only.
Now let us think how best we can reduce air pollution.
1) Regular sprinkling of water in dust areas.
2) Better to burry the wastage in pits instead of burning.
3) Usage of Liquid petroleum gas in place of coal and
Maintaining and checking up of pollution of vehicles regularly.
4) Minimizing the usage of plastic.
Now let us think how best we can reduce water pollution.
1) Limiting the usage of water
2) Attending the leakages immediately
3) Avoiding usages of open drainages
4) To be cautious regarding wastage is not deposited in open drain systems.
5) Adopting rainwater harvest system.
6) To see that the water used in our house is reached to the plants.
Now let us think how best we can reduce Sound pollution
1) Reduce the sound out put of TV and Tape recorder to the extent possible.
2) Use silencers in vehicles
3) Plantation around the house will restrict out side sound waves entering in to the house.
Being little cautious and implementing self-restraint we can make the environment free of pollution and we will have a healthy atmosphere.
Now let us think how best we can reduce the pollution due to Geological disturbances
1) Avoid subsidence of earth.
2) Arranging gutters so that the water is not stored in subsidence land.
3) Plantation to the extent possible.
Now let us think how best we can reduce the socio-economic pollution
1) Do not waste money
2) Avoid bad habits
3) Implement Family planning
It is once again reiterated that if not we protect the environment our future will be in dark. Now let us see, the consequences we may have to face if we ignore healthy environment.
1) Temperature will grow abnormally.
2) Tanks will have no water; we may have to suffer for drinking water.
3) Fertile lands will become deserts.
To avoid such danger
1) Use only traditional fertilizers and avoid usage of chemical fertilizers.
2) Burry the wastage in pits and convert it as fertilizer.
3) Cultivate rain pits.
4) Plantation work is to be taken up both sides of roads.
5) Usage of electronic instruments in place of mechanical instruments.
While concluding let us have a loin eye on the topics we had discussed
1) The existence of human being will be badly affected, if the environment balance is not maintained.
2) Utmost interest is to be shown to-wards sanitation.
3) Avoid wastage of electricity and water.
4) Harvesting of water is to be taken up on war foot basis.
5) Adopt family planning as a social responsibility.
6) Restrict infectious diseases.
Save environment for our better future.

The Mind
Dear Reader
Namasthe.
Our Indian Philosophy identifies the Soul as sentient. The Mind has different avagations. As the soul and the mind are interrelated and displays one with other, it is essential to know the Mind before knowing about the Soul.
The Mind, as per Indian philosophy, has five states. All these states are activated by senses.
The first state is called the Kshipata state i.e. the scattered state. The rays of the Sun can be taken as example for this state of mind. In the scattered state of Mind, we don’t have any control over the Mind or senses. The mind flies over many issues at any moment of time. In this state no body yields success on any attempt.
The second state is called the Mudha state or the stupid state. In this state, the Mind function is almost inert. Neither it can think of any thing nor it will act wisely. It will be in dormitory state. Though we hear sounds, we can not differentiate even the difference in the sounds.
The third state is called the Vikshipta state. It is also like the scattered state. But the difference is that in this state the mind acts extremely. At one moment we act very wisely and on very other moment we act very stupidly. The intellect is ignited at one state and nasty decisions are taken at the other side. Most of the people at this state can not be judged due to their extremity.
The forth state is called the Ekagra or the concentrated state. In this state, the mind is diverted from scattered state to one subject. All the latent forces are channelised towards our objective. The Will-power is controlled. The voluntary attention is accomplished on one subject that has been prioritised. For example, if we want to complete a particular task, then our priority is fixed on that task. The eagerness to complete the task takes a shape and transforms into will-power. The deep desire to translate our preposition in to reality intensifies the will-power. At this juncture, all the internal forces travels through the channel created by the concentration and present us the Success. Though, the concentration and the Will-power seems to be different, to be frank, they are two faces of one coin. The concentration gives strength to the will-power and the will-power doesn’t allow our mind to divert from the subject for which we give priority. The diversification is the prime quality or the characteristic of the mind. To regularise its activities and to stabilise the mind on one particular activity and to restrict the diversified jobs of the mind is the primary concept of Yoga. Through Yoga our ancient seers have successfully developed the methods to attain the utmost concentration. Though, the modern psychology does not agree that the concentration will have a long life, our ancient seers have proved that everlasting concentration can be achieved through practice.
We enjoy the delightful music when we play any instrument, In fact, the instrument does not have the music in it. It is only an instrument. But, the music which is embodied in the mind of the player, accomplishes through the instrument. The deep desire of an individual, to display a delightful music, creates the great music through the instrument. The craving desire gives birth to the willpower. Then the priority for music is taken up. The prioritised concentration strengthens the will-power. And the concentration helps the musician to practice the music. Thus, the music accomplishes from the strings of the instrument, which has no life and gives happiness to all the music lovers.
The fifth state is called the Nirudh state. In this state the mind is diverted from all activities of our senses. Our mind travels in a channelised way and the objective is well decided. Under no circumstances our priority is disturbed. The concentration is very strongly energized by the will-power and vis-à-vis. A delightful atmosphere is pervaded and no other thought enters in the mind. This is also called the Samadhi state.
Though the Samadhi state has not been accepted by our modern psychologists and this state is treated as mental disorder and referred for treatment by modern psychologists, the olden sages enjoyed the state for several years and innovated many things for the future generation.
Thanking you,
Namasthe.

EFFECTIVE DECISION MAKING
There is a saying that “no objective leads to no end”. Yes, every one should have an objective. Before reaching a junction we should know where we should go. When there are several options, and we have to take a decision we are a little bit confused. The dilemma prevailing in our mind may not support us to reach to a conclusion. A Confucius mind may not yield good results. So, our mind should be trained always so as to take an effective and a positive decision.
Now, let us know what does a decision means and how an effective decision is made. When we encounter with a problem and the options are many, our mind will be in a state of wavering. Final solution or conclusion cannot be found. Here we require determining which way is good for us and find a firm solution to our problem. Choosing a final solution and believing that the solution gives us good results is called the decision.
While taking a decision we should ensure that our decision is specific one. We should ascertain our strengths and weaknesses. We should realise that we and only we are responsible for our decisions. Some times it may be necessary to seek suggestions from others. We may act on others suggestions. Irrespective of the results, we should accept the responsibility. Because, when we take a decision and act accordingly, we should be prepared to face all the consequences arise there upon. It is not appropriate to make others responsible for our decisions.
Before taking a decision, we should ensure that all the solutions to the problem are to be considered. Our decision should not lead to ambiguity. It should be very clear cut. One should not forget that an unequivocal decision gives us the strength to complete our job very effectively. Once the ambiguity engrossed is removed from the mind and all the senses are activated and diverted on the subject a result oriented solution will be found for the problem. A subject specific decision can only yield good results.
For example, if a person seeking employment wants to enrich his experience in many a different fields, he may not succeed. Instead, if he is specific to a particular field and put up all his internal strengths in that direction, certainly he achieves his goals. One should be able to visualise the result of his decision. A result oriented and positive decision presents us the courage and strength to face the consequences there upon.
When a situation warrants a quick and prompt decision, we should not delay it. It is always to keep in mind that the preference always dominates the result of the decision taken.
The decisions are of two types. One is routine decision and the other is strategic one. A routine decision does not attract much attention but a strategic decision requires high degree of attention. In order to accomplish what we dream, we should activate and accelerate the inherent talents of ourselves. As we know that the delayed decision is a denied decision, we should never delay decisions. When a routine decision yields no good results a strategic decision keeps us in front of our peers.
Decisions are two types. One is verbal and the other is written or non-verbal. Irrespective of the type of decision, the decision depends upon the information received or the data collected. When we ought to take a decision, we have to collect data or the information from all the sources and analyze the pros and cons of the decision.
The collected data is the prime requirement for a good decision. But the reliability of the data depends on the source of the data collected. What, when, how and from whom the data is collected is more important. All these factors play a vital role in the reliability of the data. If the information collected is far away from the subject, no matter how precious the information, is of no use.
In some cases, the information may be relevant but the data is outdated, the collected data is of no use.
In some instances the information is relevant and is up to date but it is not scientific. In such cases also the data is not useful.
In some cases, the information is relevant, up to date and scientifically collected but the reporter is not reliable, then also the information is useless.
Only after considering the reliability of the data from all the sources one is supposed to take a decision. Such decisions will be effective and helps in upgrading our career potential. At this juncture, it is not to forget that any decision either good or bad, taken by us reflects directly or indirectly upon those who are related to us. That doesn’t mean that we should not take a decision. We should make decision-making a habit of us. We should accelerate the mechanism involved in making the decision. The following may help to promote the habit of decision making.
1) When a routine decision on small matters is to be taken, do not postpone it. Take a prompt decision.
2) When multi faced solutions are available select your choice. And be firm with your choice.
3) Once you took a decision, rub-off all the alternatives from your mind and just stick up to your decision.
4) Once a decision is taken and all the alternatives are forgotten, you will have no other option left except to go with your decision. Act upon your decision till you achieve your goals. Concentrate all the latent energies and drive the same towards your challenges.
5) An important thing in this aspect is that never try to postpone either your decision or your action. If you want to postpone anything postpone your postponement idea.
The “ Management by objective” mainly deals with planing, organising, leading and controlling. These are the qualities of a manager and sufficient for a limited sphere of areas. But, when a manager wants to transform into a leader, he should create and follow-up constantly in addition to the above. As time does not permit a leader to defer his decisions till he receives information from all the sources, he has to take decisions on the spot. Ever changing market strategies and political scenario does not permit anyone to delay ones decisions. Constant updating of information and keeping sufficient data always ready will make the things too easy to take a decision on the spot.
Decision-making is very important throughout life. We must realise that life itself is a series of decisions. A right decision will lead us to success and on the other hand a wrong decision can ruin our life. So, we should never endorse the decision to others, which we are supposed to take. As we are the owners of our decisions we should not subject others to be the scapegoats.
At this juncture, I would like to specify those factors, which determines our decision-making capacity.
1) Attitude contributes much in our decision-making capacity. The result i.e. positive or negative depends upon the attitude we display.
2) Our commitment plays a prime role in our decision-making. If we are strong enough and stick up to our decision, our job is half done. Our commitment itself drives us to our destiny.
3) Remember that the Altitude of our decision is decided by our attitude. If our attitude is proactive, we rise to high levels and achieve our visionary targets.
Here are some tips that may help in our progress.
1) Read stories of success. By continuous reading of stories related to success, our mind receives positive thoughts. Such thought leads us to a positive thought pattern, which in turn motivates us to attain the path of success.
2) As and when time permits one should make a habit of listening to the motivational cassettes, speeches, conversations etc., so that one may involve and be motivated to cultivate a habit of positive thinking.
3) There is a saying that Birds of same feather will flock together. Always it is better to get associated with the people who are positive and committed to their specific goals.
4) Associating with people who are successful will change our attitude.
5) Physical and Mental relaxation is required. A mind subjected to stress cannot take a wise decision. Out door plays and doing yoga will present us physical fitness. Meditation and some exercises relating to mind will give us peace. When we relax, our energy magnifies and the capacity for withstanding stress is multiplied in many folds. In a relaxed state we are able to take a right decision at a right time.
6) One may be very busy, still a little time is to be allocated to oneself so that the internal reactions can be judiciously judged. Whenever we achieve a small success, we should learn to appreciate ourselves. Self-appreciation will motivate us to attain further big achievements.
Normally, we hesitate to take a bold decision. When we are at a multi-cornered street and could not decide where to go, naturally we are confused. This is because lack of confidence. It indicates that we do not trust our self. We may trust somebody but we don’t have confidence on us. Many a time we are allowing our latent talents to sleep. No attempt is made to wake them up. As long as we are in ambiguity, we cannot take a bold and wise decision. Yes, we have to wakeup our inner senses. We should attain consciousness. We should realise that we posses enormous capabilities in us. Let us start our vehicle and drive in a right direction. We are capable to overcome any obstacles, which may cause hindrance in our journey. Once we prepare mentally, every thing is possible. Trusting us and preparing ourselves is the key for our progress.
There are three laws, which governs the universe. They are:
1) The physical law
2) The mental law
3) The spiritual law
The iron is hard, the butter is smooth, the ice is cold and the sun is hot. This is the physical law. Normally it is not changed. But when mental law enters in the field the physical law is changed. Once all the senses are brought to consciousness anything is achievable.
For example: We know that the ice is very cold and when it is touched our finger freezes. Can we imagine sleeping on an ice block? Perhaps the answer is no. But, when a Hypnotist suggests his subject who is under deep hypnosis, the subject sleeps on the ice block comfortably. Here the mind is surpassing the physical law. This is the power of mental law. Just try to understand the power of our mind. Once the latent energies are awakened and motivated towards achievable subjects, no matter whatever difficulty it may be that will be won.
As much we practice, proportionately our mental energies grow. As much the inner energy we utilise so much is transformed. So trust yourself. Realise your self-image. You can make miracles. The following will explain some of the ways to develop healthy self-image.
1) Always enjoy who you are.
We do not have money. So what, we adjust our wants to our resources. We may be rikshawala, so what, we are proud to be the owner of our riksha. We are what we are. Yes let us accept what we are and enjoy ourselves.
2) Accept yourself as you are.
Do not cover your personality. It may be a fact you are not beautiful. So what. You have ability to deal the matters. Never try to disregard yourself. Your capacity, your ability when displayed may make wonders, which you may not believe. A beautiful, handsome guy may not do the same. You are very intelligent and kindhearted. Others may not be. Therefore, try to accept yourself as you are. You may be unbeautiful physically, but remember that you can supplement it by displaying a good character.
3) Try to enhance your self.
Our puranas revel that everybody is in a particular state. His journey starts from that point or state. One has to excel self-state and travel to attain the par-excellence. Constant practice bestows on us the state of par-excellence. So, always update your knowledge, improve your skill and try to prove yourself. The deep desire leads us to a right direction.
4) Seek support of your friends.
Who is your best friend? Who will stay with you for a longer time? Irrespective of your acceptance who is reconciling your deeds? Who is suggesting you always a right path even if you ignore? If anybody put these questions we list several names, but we just forget to name our own.
There is nobody else, except your inner-self that is your best friend. Always seek the help of your inner-self. We may have many friends around us but very few of them understand us and move nearer to us. They only guide us in needs. They bestow their well wishes on us. A situation may arise when we may have to seek the help of our real friends. The available information may not be sufficient. We may be in dilemma. Then they help us in finding a solution for our problem.
We are capable, we have worth, we have a decision making power. We also realise that we are responsible for our decisions. Also we are aware of the reflections of our decisions. Even then we cannot live alone in the world. We are connected to the society. We are supposed to discharge certain duties towards society and family. We should have friends but not for chitchatting. Therefore, when time demands we should seek the help of our real friends and vice versa.
5) Recognise your worth:
Aspiration towards a high goal is a hallmark for anybody’s success. When you aspire something assess yourself. Strengthen your capabilities. Regularise latent energies. Drive towards your goals. Determine yourself that you are not stopping till you achieve your goals. This requires worth. Your achievement will be directly proportional to your worth. If you are worthy, your ambitions are fulfilled. You can realise your dreams. Otherwise your dreams will become false and deceit. Therefore, before starting anything, recognise your worth judiciously. Wherever necessary, try to sharpen your abilities. Think from all the available angles and come to a conclusion.
6) Define your attitude:
Attitudes are more than what we are. Our attitude decides our fate. A positive attitude leads us to a road of success. When we are negative the doors for success are closed. So always try to redefine your attitudes. Always see that your ability supplements your attitude.
7) Have faith in yourself.
Faith power works wonders. Faith opens the doors and doubt closes the doors to the power. We have faith in God and we have faith in somebody, but we don’t have faith on us. Somebody completes a work and we appreciate that person. Most of the times we do can perform the work but we never try it. When certain person can do a work why can’t we. When we realise our strengths and weaknesses and have faith on us it is not to wonder if we do miracles. When we attract unlimited energy into us, we can do any thing. Yes, impossible can become possible, provided we have faith on us.
8) Never be an ambiguous:
Most of us cannot overcome the dilemma prevailing in us. We are not confident whether we can do the job or not. Once you realize your power you can do it. Yes, it is a fact. Remember always that a person who thinks he can, he can and a person he thinks he can’t he can’t. Your positive thinking helps in achieving things.
A man who is self–reliant, positive, and optimistic and undertakes his work with the assurance of success magnifies his condition. He draws all the power of the universe. So be clear, and open your mind and ignite your intellect and reap the fruits of success.
You have taken a decision and want to implement it. As long as the decision is concerned to you alone, no problem good or bad you only take the responsibility. When others participation is there in the decision you are supposed to prove yourself to be loyal. Your attitude and actions represent your loyalty. When you are loyal you win the trust of others. Your trustworthiness makes your things too easy. So, be always positive and be loyal and win the hearts of the people.
It is well known to everyone that learning is a continuous process. You know which is the fastest running animal… that is nothing but a Cheetah. You know why it runs…. Yes because it learns to run. Yes we should make Cheetah our role model while displaying our talents. Don’t sail with others heart and mind sail with your own.
Accept or choose a job you love. Once you chose the job love it. When you find a job or work, which you love, needs never to work even a day in your life. You enjoy the work.
Now-a-days most of us are subjected to stress. It is because we don’t take proper decisions in time. Even if we take a decision we are not aware of the process of a decision. There are 5 steps in decision-making. They are
1) Determine the problem / matter
2) Get the facts and opinions about the problem / matter
3) Develop alternative solutions to the problem / matter
4) Select the best alternative to the problem / matter. While selecting the solution be aware of your strengths and weaknesses.
5) Have a feedback always.
While analyzing and selecting the best alternative pay attention to SWOT analysis. Which is as follows…
S - Strengths
W - Weaknesses
O - Opportunities
T – Threats
Communication skills play a vital role in the feedback mechanism. An effective communicator develops a value-based system and communicates in a perfect way. The system will be clear and the decision is also fully protected and controlled.
You have taken a decision and ready to implement it. But unfortunately an obstacle came on the way. Are you going to withdraw the decision? If so, you are defeated. You have calculated all the pros and cons before taking the decision and determined to implement it. Then what is making you to withdraw? No, never loose the game. Don’t stop till you reach your destination. That is the right sprit. That is your commitment. Your commitment implies that….
1) You are dependable
2) You are reliable
3) Your predictability
4) Your consistency
5) You are caring
6) Your empathy
7) Your sincerity
8) your sense of duty
9) your character
10) your integrity
11) your loyalty
Our attitude, our commitment and our preparedness are our strengths. We are the lawmakers of our dynasty. Let us be positive, be proactive and accept responsibility. Sky is the limit for our reach.
When we have enormous power within us and capable of doing anything, why should we keep idle. Let us think well, act better, and do better always. Being a human being is a boon for us. Let us make use of the boon.
Wishing all the best,

Wishing all the best,
WHERE MY JOURNEY ENDS
Achieve some thing
Provokes my inner consciousness
What to achieve, is a “million dollars question”
Provocation precipitated slowly
An objective, which is not clear, is visualised
A desire proved its entity
The deep desire collected the related knowledge
The knowledge turned in to action
Proposition translated in to Reality
Accelerated action started towards its destiny
The light shined in my path and
My travel tasted the sweetness of Success
I am not sure whether my Success is momentary or eternal
Success gifted me Satisfaction
Satisfaction bestowed laziness
Laziness presented me Inertness
Inertness lead me to Loneliness
Loneliness assured me Insecurity
Insecurity gave me fear
Fear shown me darkness
Darkness darkened my passage
Where my journey ends…
In the darkness or in the light … is not known
The light is the symbol for a victory
The darkness is the symbol for a defeat
Your responsibility is enhanced, said the Victory
Your efforts are not sufficient, said the Defeat
Success is always nearer to eyes…. and away from feet
So, be very cautious to retain success
Remember that all the participants will never WIN and
Participation is more than a success … and
Believe that nothing is impossible if our WILL is strong
God has bestowed all power in us
He can, who thinks he can and
He can’t, who thinks he can’t
Our faith is our power
And faith power works wonders
You will be the winner, if your WILL, is driven towards your Goal
Accept miseries, happiness is yours
Wishing you all happiness and
Every Success in your NEW ENDEAVOR
